BREAKFAST RECIPES
Egg Soup
Ingredients List:
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, use less for thinner soup
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- Green onions
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Add the chicken stock to the pot and hit cook.
- STEP 2: Combine corn starch, water, and turmeric powder
- STEP 3: Add the cornstarch mixture/slurry to the the chicken stock once it boils
- STEP 4: Beat 2 eggs and drizzle into the soup once it comes back up to a boil. Stir the soup while you drizzle slowly to get nice ribbons!
- STEP 5: Add soy sauce, salt, and white pepper
- STEP 6: Top with green onions and adjust seasoning to taste!

Tomato Egg Rice
Ingredients List:
- 3/4 cup jasmine rice
- 1 cup water (I actually used slightly less than 1 cup)
- 1 small tomato
- 1-2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp magic sarap
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Add the chicken stock to the pot and hit cook.
- STEP 2: Score a shallow x on the tomato. Place in the center of the rice. Hit Cook.
- STEP 3: After 20-25 minutes of cooking, drizzle the beaten egg over the rice. Place the lid back on top and let finish cooking.
- STEP 4: Mix everything together and adjust the seasonings to taste. I like to add Golden Mountain seasoning sauce and sesame oil!

Miso Soup
Ingredients List:
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 1/2 tbsp wakame seaweed
- 5 oz soft tofu, cubed
- 1-2 tbsp miso paste (start out with 1 and add more to preference)
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Place water, dashi powder, seaweed, and tofu into the pot. Place the lid on top and hit cook.
- STEP 2: Once the soup comes up to a boil, flip the switch to warm. We do this because high temperatures can not only affect the taste of miso negatively but also affect the nutritional benefits!
- STEP 3: Dissolve the miso paste carefully using a strainer.
- STEP 4: Adjust seasoning to taste: adding more miso, some soy sauce, or salt.

LUNCH RECIPES
Pepper Lunch
Ingredients List:
- 4 oz thinly sliced beef
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Black pepper
- 3/4 cups medium grain rice
- 3/4 cups water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 small onion, thinly sliced
- Frozen corn
- Green onions
- Chili oil
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Thinly slice the beef. Marinate it with soy sauce. Marinate the beef with the beef marinate ingredients listed.
- STEP 2: Add as much or as little black pepper as you’d like. Set aside.
- STEP 3: Wash the rice and add water, soy sauce, sake, mirin. Stir. Then add thinly sliced onions on top. Place the lid on top and hit cook.
- STEP 4: After 15 minutes, add the marinated beef, corn, and more black pepper!
- STEP 5: Mix everything together when done and serve with butter, green onions, and chili oil if desired

Oyakodon

DINNER RECIPES
Kare Udon
Ingredients List:
- 1 cup dashi (1 cup of water + 1/2 tsp dashi powder or make from scratch)
- 1 serving udon noodles
- 3 oz thinly sliced beef
- 1/4 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1-2 curry roux cubes, depends on how thick you want the broth

Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Add a bit of oil to the rice cooker pot and “saute” the beef and onions. You will need to place the lid on top in order to flip the switch to cook if you have a model similar to mine.
- STEP 2: Once the beef is cooked, remove and set aside.
- STEP 3: Clean out the pot. Add the dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Hit cook.
- STEP 4: Once the soup is boiling, add the curry roux. TIP! Chopping the roux into smaller pieces and using a strainer helps dissolve the roux easier.
- STEP 5: Add the udon to the curry soup alone with the sautéed beef and onions. Place the lid back on top and cook per udon instructions.
- STEP 6: Adjust seasonings to taste! Enjoy!

Hotdog/ Sausage Rice
Ingredients List:
- 3/4 cup rice
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp warm water
- 1 hotdog/ sausage
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp magic sarap
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Wash the rice
- STEP 2: Slice the hotdog/ sausage
- STEP 3: Add the peas + carrots, and sausage on top of the rice. Do not stir.
- STEP 4: Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and magic sarap. Pour ingredients. Cook.
- Step 5: Mix everything together once done cooking

Jin Ramen with Chicken
Ingredients List:
- 1 Jin Ramen
- 1/3-1/2 cup pasta water
- As much garlic as your heart desires, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
- Parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4oz chicken
Let’s Cook It!
- STEP 1: Cook pasta and reserve pasta water
- STEP 2: Sauté minced garlic. Then add the sauce packets.
- STEP 3: Add heavy cream and parmesan. Put the lid on and you’ll probably need to hit cook again. Salt and pepper to taste.
- STEP 4: Occasionally stir till sauce begins to reduce. Then add pasta and slowly stir in pasta water till sauce thickens and binds to the pasta. Top with parmesan and parsley!
